Our history
The name Yunfillips combines “Young”, the founder’s name, and “Philips”, his father’s name, representing a family commitment to excellence. In 1993, Young Eruenah established Yunfillips Limited as a support services company in the oil and gas sector. Following the director’s relocation to England in 1999, the company ceased operations. Yunfillips has since evolved into an educational institution, continuing a legacy of dedication and service.

Chief Young Eruenah
Founder & Executive Head Teacher
Yunfillips Montessori School is guided by the vision and commitment of its founder, Chief Young Eruenah. An experienced education professional with more than 30 years in the teaching profession, he has spent much of his career teaching in the United Kingdom.
His dedication to education and service has helped shape a school community that values high standards, character development and meaningful opportunities for every learner. His experience across educational settings informs Yunfillips’ commitment to bringing together the strengths of British and Nigerian education.
